Senator Levin Backs U.S. Navy Plan for LCSs

According to a report from Bloomberg, Senator Carl Levin, the Michigan Democrat who heads the Armed Services Committee, supported the U.S. Navy’s plan to buy Littoral Combat Ships from two teams of contractors instead of picking a single supplier. On Dec. 14, Levin commented in Washington at the start of a committee hearing.
