Official U.S. ENCs (NOAA) Optimized for ECDIS Use

ChartWorld (Hamburg) has started a new product line under the slogan "Chartworld - pure energy for your ECDIS" at 15th August. As a first step official ENCs from NOAA are optimised for the ECDIS user and offered as a choice of IHO S-63 (formerly known as PRIMAR encryption) or directENC (SevenCs SENC format that is type-approved too). ChartWorld took all offered NOAA ENCs and tied it to 3 areas - US Coast East, US Coast West and US Coast Caribbean - or as a whole package - US Coast Complete. They were offered at a low reasonable service charge of Euro 99,- per area or Euro 229,- complete, as icing on the cake, offered at the Introductory Price of Euro 199,- until 30th September 2003. Additionally Update Services are offered at a monthly or quarterly base. Optional Subscription Services for a yearly renewal are available. As far as NOAA close the gaps the additional data will be integrated into these 3 areas and will be delivered automatically with the next update or subscription without extra payment.
