Floating LNG Converters to be in Demand

According to a report from Bloomberg, liquefied-natural-gas tankers that can convert the liquid to gas onboard will be in increasing demand in the next 10 years as rising electricity production boosts consumption of the fuel, according to Teekay LNG. Teekay has identified 30 sites that in the next five years may require floating regasification tankers, including China, Brazil, Dubai, Kuwait, Bangladesh and some islands in Indonesia.
